The Urban Healer CoVid-19 Office Protocol
*There will be 30 minutes in between each appointment for disinfecting the room and to minimize client overlap.
*All interactions will take place in the treatment room in order to limit interactions in the common areas. Clients will buzz and wait in the hallway to be let in and will go directly into the room for their massage. They will remain there once their session is over and they have re-clothed for any follow-up, including making payments and future bookings.
*Masks will be worn by myself and the client throughout our entire interaction. Only when face down on the table, clients may remove their masks as there will be a paper barrier which allows the client to easily breathe while protecting from spreading droplets.
*A disposable face covering and wipeable table barrier will be in place and changed/disinfected in between each session with hospital grade cleaner.
*All surfaces (light switches, door handles, chairs, shelves, Square devices) will be wiped down with disinfectant in between each session.
*Hand sanitizer will be readily available for client and therapist use in separate pumps. Hand sanitizer pumps will be wiped down after each use.
*An air filter will be utilized in the space throughout the session to provide air flow and filtration. When able, the window will be opened to provide circulation and fresh air.
*Use of a pleasantly scented antiviral essential oil blend in a room diffuser during the session.
* Clients are asked to cancel/reschedule if they are experiencing any feelings of being unwell.
MY COMMITMENT TO YOU:
I provide my clients with a competent and professional service each time they come for an appointment
Clients are treated with respect and given the best possible care regardless of age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, body type, political affiliation or state of health
Clients are appropriately draped at all times
Appointments are confirmed at least 24 hours in advance. If I need to cancel an appointment, I do so within 24 hours whenever possible. If an emergency arises in less than 24 hours before the session and I cannot keep the appointment, I provide an additional 30 minutes of massage for free at the next session
My equipment and supplies are always clean and safe
Personal and professional boundaries are respected at all times
I perform services for which I am qualified and able to do, and refer appropriate specialists when the work is not within my scope of practice and/or not in the client's best interest
Privacy and confidentiality are strictly maintained at all times
WHAT I EXPECT FROM MY CLIENTS:
Clients provide an accurate and complete health history and update when necessary
Clients are asked to adhere to a 24-hour cancellation policy, except in the case of an emergency
Payment is expected at the time that service is rendered
Sexual harassment is not tolerated. If my safety is compromised, the session is stopped immediately
